F-11217/p the Alps summer holidays
The Holidays F-11217/p "The valleys of the Tarentaise and Maurienne to listen" Why this region? Because the Alps is something dear to my heart, and I love the Alps more than anything! well as Southern as I am originally from Savoy, and naturally the world I go two times a year. So I know full well the valleys mentioned below, so it's a breath of fresh air and a homecoming for a short holiday in the fresh air and fresh! As I would have a bit of time for radio, so I would be in my little notebook with short-wave radio and a few meters SSB electric wire who will serve as my antenna reception.

Oman heard in Australia
The Sultanate of Oman is heard in Australia Wave propagation on 10 meters band is sometimes surprising : at 12:09 UTC a station in Kilsith in the state of Victoria have to hear the signal from A41NN on 28.490 MHz, the signal was very weak and the QSO has not been possible, distance is about 11200 kms.I hope soon a possible DX-long QSO on the favourite band of ten meters.

A solar tsunami could strike the Earth (2) Yesterday I made a post that you can find here: http://onde-cevenole.centerblog.net/535-la-terre-pourrait-etre-touchee-par-une-tempete-solaire I do not know if it has a link with the solar storm, is still does til this morning that the HF bands become calm, I'm afraid that one is faced with a blackout throughout day ... Maybe fans of VHF / UHF / SHF will have nice surprises today can be beaten with troponin ... August 3, 2010, 13:58 The question is whether this will disrupt your QSO on HF? do you have more information? can be tracked online phenomen

Results Bottle to the sea by F5LBD of July 23, 2010 There are a few days back I made a post on this subject, Michael and I exchange emails that is another post here it is: Thank you to the 25 people who responded to my post of July 23, 2010. On this occasion, I recalled my brief suspension of activities telegraphy: "Using the first CW QSO for the benefit of beginners as well as the exercise of his reading in French". I spoke not a possible resumption in September because of an interest almost zero at times. All sorts of reasons have been mentioned, I think it's useless to do it again, each wit

ham located in Roswell
ham radio located in Roswell A ham located in Roswell, even the nothing extraordinary, New Mexico is often active on 20 meters and audible for those who wake up early ! except that it is the name of this place that inspires a story. In fact, I had never heard this town, however hard SWL of 20 meters each summer I copy QTH in the U.S., but the failure so it's a "New One" for me, you see it does not capture the same station and it's nice to hear a new U.S. county or town located far from everything ! Roswell? this does not mean anything to you ? This town located in the state of New Mex

SWL activities July 9th to 15th 2010
Early morning is the DX, the afternoon is the big blue (mediterrannean sea)! Due to high tempature in South France, I was not very active these days on decametric just 1 hour or two early in the morning on 20 meters, then the afternoon I made my way towards the big blue to night . I take this opportunity of a lull on the waves and the warmth one can to take care of the blog. Slot SWL: 2:00 a.m. to 5:00 hours UTC 14 MHz band, period of 9 to 15 July 2010. We can say that I was spoiled with the Western USA, a lot of stations recorded on the log of radio traffic, and that's good because n

Wow, Japan on ten at this time
Wow it's a great link this morning! I'm still surprised that Japan is heard in summer on 10 meters : Here as in Morse telegraphic link, a German on Polish border contacted at 6:35 UTC to a Japanese at Kurume located in Fukuoka prefecture, distance: 8669 km exactly It really is a beautiful link on CW, one can think that QSOs with Japan are now possible, the question remains whether SSB is same, now I'm QRX SSB and CW at the same temp, an Italian on area 4 make also a QSO with Japan. CW still of course! So gentlemen, on your key right!Long live to the CW ! enjoy it'
